Candace Butera

Candace Butera has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in communications and marketing. Candace is currently working at Axios as the Director of Client Partnerships. Previously, they held the role of Associate Director of Client Partnerships at Axios as well. Prior to Axios, Candace worked at BCW Global as a Senior Account Executive and an Account Executive in the Public Affairs and Crisis division. Candace also worked at Atlantic Media as a Content Marketing Associate and a Sponsor Marketing Fellow, where they handled messaging strategy, content development, and sales support. Candace gained editorial experience as an Editorial Intern at Pacific Standard Magazine, where they reported and published numerous news and culture stories. Candace also held positions at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, North by Northwestern, Northwestern University Residential Services, and 360i, where they gained experience in public relations, marketing, and social media.

Candace Butera obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Legal Studies, and Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University, where they attended from 2014 to 2018.
