David Wilson

David Wilson's work experience includes various roles in the diagnostics industry. David served as the Chief Commercial Officer for Avacta's Diagnostics Division, where they played a key role in the company's M&A strategy for global expansion. David also held the position of Commercial Director for the same division. Additionally, Wilson has served as a Non-Executive Director for several companies, including an Oncology MDx start-up, Luas Diagnostics, Linear Diagnostics Limited, and MOLECULAR WAREHOUSE LTD. In terms of industry associations, they have been involved with the British In Vitro Diagnostics Association (BIVDA) as the Chair of the Near Patient Testing Working Party and as a Board Member. Prior to this, Wilson held roles such as Head of International Sales and Director of Commercial Operations at Asuragen, and they served as an Associate Partner at Alacrita LLP, where they led the Dx consulting practice.

David Wilson has a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry with Microbiology from the University of St Andrews. David also completed their second year of the same degree at UC Santa Barbara. Additionally, they obtained an MBA, Master of Business Administration, from The Open University Business School. Finally, they passed the first year of the MSc program in Mathematical Finance and Trading at City, University of London.
