Allison Amar

Allison Amar has several years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, starting in 1997 as a Sales Representative/Recruiter/Manager for Varsity Internship Program. Allison then worked as a District Manager for Automatic Data Processing from 2000-2001. In 2001, they became a Professional Sales Representative at Aventis Pharmaceuticals before moving on to Teva Pharmaceuticals in 2003. At Teva Pharmaceuticals, Allison held various positions including Territory Sales Specialist, Market Development Manager & Field Force Effectiveness, Area Sales Manager, and Senior Regional Sales Manager. During their time at Teva, they received the President's Club Award in 2004 and 2005.

Allison joined Egalet Corporation in 2016 as a Regional Business Director for the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, where they led a team of Territory Managers and contributed to the commercialization and expansion of the sales force. Allison then worked as a Senior Regional Sales Manager for Bausch Health Companies Inc. from 2017-2019, leading a team of Specialty Sales Representatives in North Carolina and implementing a successful targeting program.

From 2019-2021, Allison served as a Regional Business Director for Adamas Pharmaceuticals Inc., overseeing 8 Neurology Account Specialists and focusing on the commercialization and sales of GOCOVRI. Allison also held a leadership role as an RBD Lead for the Marketing Field Advisory Board in 2021. Currently, Allison is working as a Regional Business Director for Avadel Pharmaceuticals plc, leading the commercialization efforts for AVADEL pharmaceuticals, specifically for the launch of a once nightly oxybate for narcolepsy treatment. Allison is involved in various aspects of the commercial launch planning with cross-functional teams and engages in customer interactions for market development.
