Deidra Ellis

Deidra Ellis has a strong background in pharmaceutical sales and management. Deidra is currently working as a Regional Business Director - West at Avadel Pharmaceuticals plc since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at UroGen Pharma as a Regional Business Director, where they had responsibilities in sales, field reimbursement, and clinical education. Deidra held the position from September 2019 to December 2022, preceded by a role as a Regional Business Manager from September 2019 to July 2022. Deidra also gained experience at Astellas Pharma US, where they worked as a Portfolio Key Account Manager from November 2016 to August 2019, and as a Specialty Regional Sales Manager - Urology from April 2014 to October 2016. Before Astellas, they worked at Astellas Pharma as a Regional Sales Manager in the Primary Care/Urology division from April 2012 to March 2014, and as a Regional Sales Manager in the PCP Neuroscience Division from October 2009 to March 2012. Prior to Astellas, Deidra held positions at Astellas Pharma, US as a Senior Manager of Sales Training from August 2006 to October 2009, and as a Healthcare Specialist from December 2004 to August 2006. Deidra started their career at ICOS as a Senior Sales Representative focused on urology from July 2003 to December 2004, and at Pharmacia as a Senior Sales Representative in urology from June 2001 to July 2003. Deidra has also worked at Shire Pharmaceuticals as a Sales Representative from December 1999 to June 2001, and at Enterprise Rent-A-Car as a Branch Manager from May 1993 to December 1999.

Deidra Ellis pursued their undergraduate education from 1989 to 1993 at UC San Diego. Deidra successfully obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communications, majoring in that particular field of study.
