Clint C.

Clint C. has a diverse work experience in the field of bioinformatics and research. Clint is currently working as the CTO and Co-founder at Avail Bio since November 2018. Prior to this, they worked at UCSF as a Bioinformatics PhD Student from August 2013 to November 2018. During this time, they focused on the utility of cell-free DNA as a cancer biomarker. Clint also worked as a Consultant at Encompass Bioscience from September 2017 to October 2018. Before that, they gained experience as a Research Technician and System Programmer at the University of Pittsburgh from July 2008 to September 2013. Clint started their career as an Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) Intern at the US Army from September 2007 to June 2008. Clint also had a NSF Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) Fellowship and worked as a Lab Technician at The Pennsylvania State University from January 2004 to August 2007.

Clint C. began their education in 2001 at Penn State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry Molecular Biology and Computer Science in 2006. From 2007 to 2012, they attended The Johns Hopkins University and completed a Master of Science in Bioinformatics. Finally, Clint pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at the University of California, San Francisco from 2013 to 2018, specializing in the Integrative Program in Quantitative Biology.
