Kristen Starks has a diverse work experience in the insurance industry. Kristen began their career in 2010 as a Student Assistant at Clemson University. In 2014, they joined GEICO as a Customer Service Manager, then moved into the Emerging Leader Program. In 2019, they were promoted to Senior Operations Manager of the Mid-Atlantic Region, where they were responsible for overseeing the revenue, risk management and compliance objectives of the organization. In 2021, they joined Avail as Claims Operations Manager, where they work closely with Product, Design, Engineering, Customer Experience, Trust & Safety and Business Development teams to define the roadmap for key initiatives to improve the Owner experience & reduce platform risk & loss.
