Jalen Garnett

Jalen Garnett is a seasoned software engineer currently serving as a Software Engineer IV (Tech Lead) at Availity since October 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at the Technology Services Organization for the USMC, where guidance was provided to Product Owners in transitioning from Waterfall to Agile methodologies and significant enhancements to unit test coverage and automated testing processes were achieved. Jalen's background also includes experience as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Purdue University, where guidance was offered to students in software development, and a position as a Business System Analyst at Abbott, focusing on improving project collaboration and automating testing processes. Jalen began the professional journey as a Lead Web Developer for Indiana HOSA, developing website designs and content management systems. Jalen holds a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain, Information and Analytics from Purdue University Daniels School of Business, completed in 2017.
