Leonard Fink

Leonard Fink has a strong background in IT and engineering, with experience in various roles and companies. Leonard is currently a member of the Supervisory Board at DeepL since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Data Processing at Avails Medical, Inc. since February 2021. Before that, they were a Senior Engineer at Dropbox from February 2014 to October 2018. Leonard also served as a Principal Engineer at Loom, Inc. and as a Lead Developer at Journelles from September 2012 to February 2014. Leonard worked as a Senior IT Consultant at Axiogenesis AG from March 2003 to February 2014. Additionally, Leonard co-founded Linguee GmbH, a translation search engine, where they served as a Co-founder from January 2008 to September 2012. Leonard has also worked as a self-employed Research Consultant, providing system design, database development, and IT consulting services to various clients, including Axiogenesis AG and Journelles.de. Leonard's career began in 1999 as the Head of Development at Oneview Systems & Services GmbH.

Leonard Fink attended the University of Cologne from 1997 to 2006, where they studied Physics. In 1999, they obtained a certification as an Apple WebObjects™ Developer from Uptime Object Factory Inc.
