Ruben Billiet has a diverse work experience, starting as a Data Processing Manager at IRB Europe from October 2010 to September 2011. In this role, they managed a team of interviewers, gathered and analyzed quantitative data, and reported findings to clients. From September 2011 to September 2012, they worked as a Student in Marketing Analysis at Ghent University.

Later, Billiet joined Itineris in September 2012, where they held various roles. As a Functional Consultant from September 2012 to April 2017, they specialized in Asset & Service Management, gathering requirements, designing software solutions, and implementing them in utility organizations. From April 2017 to December 2018, they served as a Functional Solution Architect for the Boston Water and Sewer Commission project, overseeing the implementation of a Microsoft Dynamics-based software platform.

From January 2018 to March 2021, Billiet served as the Functional BI Lead at Itineris, responsible for formulating a strategy around reporting and business intelligence for utility organizations across North America. Ruben utilized tools like Excel, Microsoft SSRS/SSAS, Microsoft Power BI, and Azure services to address the business intelligence needs of utility customers.

Currently, Ruben Billiet is employed at Golub Capital, where they started in March 2021 as an Assistant Vice President of Front Office Technology. In August 2023, they were promoted to the role of Vice President of Reporting & Analytics.

Ruben Billiet's education history includes a Master of Science degree in Marketing Analysis from Ghent University, which was obtained from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Sociology from Ghent University, spanning from 2006 to 2010.
