Nigel Buttress

Nigel Buttress is a seasoned quality assurance professional with extensive experience in the healthcare and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist at Avails Medical, Inc. since September 2023, Nigel previously held the same title at Advanced Cell Diagnostics from January 2022 to September 2023, focusing on supplier management and batch record review. Prior to that, Nigel worked at Synthego Corporation where responsibilities included maintaining quality systems and managing supplier audits. Nigel's earlier roles include QA Manager and Document Control Specialist at Diagnostics for the Real World Ltd, as well as Director of Quality at Molecular Epidemiology, Inc. Starting a career in the Public Health Laboratory Service as a Med Tech, Nigel also contributed to research in rapid diagnostic tests for Chlamydia and HBV at the University of Cambridge. Nigel holds a Bachelor's degree in Combined Science from the University of Leicester.
