Bobby Sands

Bobby Sands is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in customer support and operational excellence. Currently serving as Vice President Customer Excellence at Avalara since October 2018, Bobby took on the role of Interim VP of Global Support from July 2022 to March 2023. Prior to Avalara, Bobby was the Director of Professional Services, Customer Success, and Global Delivery/Support at Thomson Reuters, managing various solutions including Sabrix and Legal Tracker from July 2008 to October 2018. Bobby's career began at CNSI as Team Lead - Delivery from January 2005 to June 2008. Bobby holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Sathyabama University, an MBA in Business from George Fox University, and completed a program in Building Innovative Teams and Organizational Leadership at Stanford University in 2020.
