David Polatseck

David Polatseck is an experienced executive in the software compliance industry. Currently serving as Vice President & General Manager of Business Licenses at Avalara since November 2020, David previously founded and led Business Licenses, LLC from August 2004 until its acquisition by Avalara in November 2020. Prior to that, David was President & Founder of DPC, a sales tax compliance software company that was sold to CCH, INCORPORATED in July 2000. David's earlier career included IT consulting roles at notable organizations such as Chemical Bank, Manufacturers Hanover Trust, Pan American World Airlines, AIG, the United Nations, ExxonMobil, and Telcordia Technologies. David holds a Master of Arts degree from UTA.
