Steve Myrick

Steve Myrick is an accomplished professional in security engineering and product security, currently serving as the Manager of Product Security at Avalara since August 2019. In this role, Steve leads three teams focused on adversarial engineering, DevSecOps, and application security, driving strategic vision and enhancing security maturity through initiatives such as a Security Champions program and an internal international security conference. Steve’s extensive background includes previous positions at MetLife as a Security Engineer, multiple roles at Fidelity Investments including Penetration Tester and Threat Intelligence Analyst, and foundational experiences as a System Administrator Assistant at UNC Wilmington. Steve holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with a business concentration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
