Teja Dhanekula is a seasoned technology professional with significant experience in software development and project leadership. Currently serving as a Technical Lead at Avalara since September 2024, Teja previously worked as a Software Consultant at Topcoder from September 2020 to August 2024, and as a Software Development Engineer 2 at Zynga from May 2018 to August 2020. Teja's career began at 3dwalk.in as a Senior Software Engineer, where involvement in product development was key as the first employee of a start-up focused on 3D visualization of homes. Prior to that, at Ivy Comptech, experience included roles as Senior Software Developer and Software Developer, contributing to various aspects of online gaming software solutions, particularly in compliance with Spanish regulations. Teja's career also includes an internship at Tensilica and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, completed in 2013.
