Effie Baoutis

Effie Baoutis possesses extensive experience in the healthcare communications and medical education sectors. Currently serving as President, Medical at Avalere Health since January 2024, Effie simultaneously lectures in MBA Strategic Marketing in Life Sciences at Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin. Effie's involvement with the Healthcare Communications Association includes serving as an Executive Committee Member and Board Member. Previous roles include Regional Client Lead and Operational Strategy Lead for Europe at Omnicom, as well as Senior Director and President, West Europe at McCann Health. Effie's earlier positions encompass leadership at W2O Group, apothecom, and several healthcare communications agencies, further complemented by academic foundations in Pharmacology and Mass Communications from the University of Sydney and the University of Leicester, respectively.
