David Coffey is the current Manager in Training at Avalon Flooring. David has over fifteen years of experience in management, starting with Macy's in 2008. At Macy's, David held positions of increasing responsibility, eventually becoming the Manager of the Year in 2015. In 2017, David left Macy's to take a position as Vice President of Distribution with Wyndham Hotel Group. There, they were responsible for managing the property information of over six thousand hotels, overseeing central travel agent commission processing, and heading the customer information center and help desk. David successfully guided the development and implementation of a single point of entry tool to reduce redundant data entry in five databases, resulting in increased productivity and reduced expenses. David also increased employee retention rates to 98% by developing a culture focused on improving and maintaining employee morale. In 2019, David left Wyndham Hotel Group to take their current position with Avalon Flooring.
