Derek Anderson

Derek Anderson is an accomplished executive with significant experience in account management and client engagement within the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Executive Vice President of Account Management at Avalon Healthcare Solutions since April 2024, Derek previously held various leadership roles at Cotiviti from May 2016 to April 2024, including Vice President and Senior Client Engagement Lead, Director of Audit Operations, and Manager of Payment Accuracy. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Account Management at MDA Healthcare Consultants, where the focus was on addressing challenges in healthcare reimbursement, and as Accounts Manager at MGA Employee Services, specializing in revenue generation and relationship management. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship from Northeastern University, completed in 2006, and graduated from Xaverian Brothers High School in 2001.
