Mohammad Maadi is a seasoned professional in the field of micro- and nano fabrication, currently serving as a Senior Process Specialist at Avalon Holographics since March 2021. Concurrently, Mohammad has been with nanoFAB since August 2014, focusing on the fabrication of advanced Capacitive Micromachined Ultrasonic Transducer (CMUT) Arrays for medical ultrasound applications. Prior to these roles, Mohammad held a Postdoctoral Fellowship and Graduate Research Assistant positions at the University of Alberta, where responsibilities included lab instruction and development in projects related to micro-fabrication and biophysical measurement. Additionally, previous experience at Middle East Technical University involved integrated circuit design for ultrasound applications and training in electronic design automation tools. Mohammad holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Master’s in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
