Jan Lampei

Jan Lampei has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Starting in 2002, they worked as a Personal Assistant and Volunteer at L'Arche Lambeth in London. In 2010, they joined Berhin AB as an intern, involved in product development and idea generation for environmentally friendly furniture. They also worked on CAD design and built relationships with local manufacturers. Moving on, Lampei became the Owner and Designer of LampeiDesign in 2012, focusing on their own projects. In 2011, they worked as an Associate at Join Business & Technology. Additionally, Lampei worked as a Designer and Project Leader at Green Furniture Concept, managing furniture assembly and delivery, as well as freelance designing. In 2016, they started working at Avalon Innovation as an Industridesigner and Design Engineer, and later joined IKEA Group in the role of a Design Engineer.

Jan Lampei began their education journey in 2003 at Leibniz Universität Hannover, where they studied civil engineering for four semesters until 2005. In 2006, they pursued their academic pursuits further and enrolled at IKDC Lunds Universitet, where they obtained a Master of Fine Arts degree in industrial design, which they successfully completed in 2011. Additionally, in the same year, 2006, they also completed the TISUS qualification test for studying Swedish as a foreign language at Lund University.
