Michelle Palacios

Michelle Palacios, PhD, DABT serves as Vice President of Translational Sciences at Avalyn Pharma since January 2024, leading nonclinical development and clinical pharmacology for inhaled small molecules aimed at treating pulmonary fibrosis. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Director at the same company and Director at Enzyvant, focusing on drug development for pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Having held various leadership positions at Altavant Sciences and Roivant Sciences, Michelle contributed significantly to nonclinical development strategies and toxicology study designs. Academic training includes a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, an MS in Biology from California State University, Los Angeles, and a BS in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics from UCLA.
