Bob Thomas

Bob joined the Avamere Family of Companies in 1999. Throughout his tenure, he has served in executive positions as President of Signature Healthcare at Home, President of Infinity Rehab and currently as COO of the Avamere Group. Bob is responsible for supporting growth, strategic leadership, culture and operational improvement.

Bob has over 25 years in the healthcare industry. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Biology from Eastern University and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Pacific University in Oregon. Prior to joining the Avamere Family of Companies, he served in clinical roles as a physical therapist and in leadership and management roles for a national healthcare company. He has been an active professional contributing to numerous industry publications and journals and lecturing across the country on reimbursement, rehabilitation and other topics in the post-acute care arena. He also is an adjunct professor at Pacific.

Bob currently serves as President of the Oregon Association for Home Care and is on the PostAcute Care 360 Advisory Board. He has served on numerous other boards including the Pacific University College of Business, the Section on Geriatrics of the American Physical Therapy Association, the Oregon Physical Therapy Association, the Oregon Gerontological Association and the National Association for Rehab Providers and Agencies.
