Karanpreet Kaur

Karanpreet Kaur is a Senior Data Engineer at Avanade, with a strong background in designing and implementing scalable data infrastructure solutions. They have experience in data modeling, ETL processes, and developing data pipelines, utilizing big data technologies like Spark and cloud-based platforms such as Azure. Previously, Karanpreet interned at STMicroelectronics, where they enhanced a JAVA-based application for database operations and developed a patch for processing error files. They also worked as a Data Scientist at Rocketbrew, where they developed an unsupervised machine learning model as part of their UBC Capstone project. Karanpreet is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Data Science at The University of British Columbia and holds an Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology.
