Asad Mian

Asad Mian is an experienced professional in the field of instrumentation and controls, currently serving as the Manager of Instrumentation and Team Lead Technical at Avanceon Middle East & South Asia since December 2021. Prior to this role, Asad worked at Descon as the Incharge of Design - Instrumentation and Controls for a brief period and held various positions at Descon Integrated Projects Limited from 2014 to 2021, including Lead Engineer and Senior Engineer in Instrumentation and Controls. Earlier experience includes a role as Control System Design Engineer at JGC, contributing to the Puerto la Cruz Oil Refinery project in Venezuela, as well as multiple engineering roles at Descon Engineering Limited and Descon Integrated Projects, working on significant industrial and energy projects. Asad holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics and Control Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
