Qudus Olaniran

Qudus Olaniran has worked in the tech industry for over 20 years. Qudus began their career in 2000 as a Member of Technical Staff at Nexsi Systems. Qudus then moved on to Afara Websystems and Kealia Inc. in 2002 in the same role. In 2004, they joined Sun Microsystems Inc. as a Senior Staff Engineer. In 2008, they worked as a Summer Associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as an Attorney at Freitas Tseng & Kaufman LLP. From 2014 to 2016, they served as a Patent Litigation Attorney at Perkins Coie LLP, where their responsibilities included counseling and representing clients in intellectual property disputes in all stages of the patent litigation process. Finally, in 2021, they began working as the Vice President at Avanci.

Qudus Olaniran obtained their J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2009. Qudus then went on to obtain an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1998, and a BS in Computer Engineering from the same university in 1996. Prior to that, they attended Federal Government College Ugwolawo.
