Jose Antonio Miranda

Jose Antonio Miranda is President &CEO for Avangrid Renewables. He leads the growth and development of the company’s onshore wind and solar pipeline in the United States.

Jose Antonio has extensive renewables leadership experience. Prior to joining Avangrid Renewables, he served as CEO of Onshore in the Americas region for Siemens Gamesa and Chairman of its Boards in US, Mexico and Brazil. He also served as Secretary of the Board and Executive Committee member of the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA).

Prior to his fourteen-year tenure at Siemens Gamesa where he held roles in Europe, Asia and the Americas, he held a variety of roles over a ten-year period at the multinational engineering firm, ABB.

He holds a Master of Business Administration ICADE (Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, Madrid, Spain) and a Maser degree in Industrial Engineering from the Superior Technical Institute of Industrial Engineers of Gijón (Oviedo University, Spain).
