Oumar Diop

Oumar Diop is currently the Manager of Distribution Engineering at AVANGRID, Inc., a position held since July 2022. Prior to this role, Oumar worked at The United Illuminating Company for 15 years, serving as Principal Engineer and Lead Distribution Engineer. Oumar holds a Master's Degree in Power Systems Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, which is currently in progress, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of New Haven.
