Jeremy Chavez

Jeremy Chavez, PE, currently serves as the Engineering Manager for Distribution at New Mexico Gas Company since August 2023 and is also the Company Owner of Zia HR, providing professional engineering services since November 2021. Prior to these roles, Jeremy held various engineering management positions, including Facility Technical Manager at Meta from January 2021 to November 2023, Engineering Superintendent at Marathon Petroleum Corporation from November 2017 to January 2021, and Maintenance Superintendent at Western Refining from April 2014 to November 2017. Earlier in the career, Jeremy worked as a Maintenance General Foreman and Reliability Engineer at Peabody Energy from June 2009 to April 2014. Jeremy holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from UNM Anderson School of Management and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Mexico School of Engineering.
