Fouaad Asmaro, P.Eng, IntPE, APEC Engineer (Canada), PE, is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at AVANGRID, Inc. since February 2021, Fouaad has previously held key positions at SNC-Lavalin as Owner Engineer, WorleyParsons, and Leidos, where expertise in substation engineering and electrical design was demonstrated. Additional experience includes managing transmission operations in Iraq, supervising maintenance for substations, and involvement in major energy projects. A graduate of the University of Technology in Iraq with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Fouaad has also contributed to significant power grid recovery efforts and participated in international energy programs.
