Hong Liu

Hong Liu has over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting. They are currently working as a Finance Manager at Avania since June 2022. Prior to that, Hong worked at Fresenius Medical Care North America for 6 years as a Budget Manager, where they were responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. They also managed the month-end accrual process and project cost allocations.

Before joining Fresenius, Hong worked at Zensar Technologies as a Financial Consultant for 2 years. In this role, they consolidated financial reports for multiple entities, completed month-end close activities, and assisted the VP of Finance on various accounting and financial projects.

Hong also gained experience as a Financial Consultant at Fresenius Medical Care for 2 years. Their responsibilities included managing the budgeting and forecasting processes for multiple cost center groups and contributing to a system conversion project.

Prior to their roles at Fresenius, Hong worked at Kaz, Inc. as a Financial Consultant, where they participated in the month-end and quarter-end closing processes and handled fixed asset accounting.

Hong's earlier experiences include working as a Financial Consultant at Boston-Power, completing financial statements and assisting with ad-hoc projects, and as a Senior Staff Accountant at Informa, where they handled month-end and year-end reporting and reconciled bank accounts.

They also worked as a Senior Accountant at Dresser-Rand, where they assisted with the conversion from SAP to Oracle and completed SEC reporting schedules. Overall, Hong has a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and accounting.

Hong Liu has studied Accounting at St. Lawrence College and Mathematics at Shandong Normal University. Additionally, they have obtained a certification in Excel Skills for Business: Advanced from Coursera in September 2018.
