Lead Counsel at Avanos Medical

Clark Wilson has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Clark currently serves as the Lead Counsel at Avanos Medical, where they assumed this role in March 2021. Prior to this, they were the Assistant General Counsel - Commercial at Avanos Medical from April 2020 to March 2021. Clark also worked as the Director (Head) of Legal Affairs at NeoMed, Inc., where they established and led the legal function from December 2018 to March 2020 before the company was fully acquired by Avanos Medical.

Outside of Avanos Medical, Clark has held various roles throughout their career. Clark was a Senior Counsel at Merchant & Gould P.C. from August 2014 to November 2018. Clark also served as an Adjunct Professor of Law - International IP Law at Georgia State University College of Law from January 2017 to May 2018. Additionally, Clark held the position of Partner at Gardner Groff & Greenwald, PC from January 2013 to July 2014, and they started their career as an Associate at the same firm from February 2008 to December 2012.

Clark's previous experience includes work as a Patent Attorney at CIBA Vision - Novartis AG from September 2007 to February 2008, and as an Associate at Malin Haley DiMaggio & Bowen, P.A. from September 2005 to August 2007. Clark also worked as a Patent Agent - Law Clerk at the Law Office of L. Jack Gibney during their law school years from May 2004 to April 2005.

Clark Wilson has actively contributed to professional organizations as well. Clark was the Chair of the Intellectual Property Section at both the State Bar of Georgia from July 2022 to June 2023 and the Atlanta Bar Association from January 2015 to December 2015.
