Ishmael Chigumira

Ishmael Chigumira has extensive work experience in various roles related to engineering and design. Ishmael worked as a Principal Engineer at Avanos Medical in 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Streamline Supplies as a Principal Systems Engineer, consulting on workplace safety and collision avoidance using AI. In 2023, they also worked at GigaDevice Semiconductor Inc. as a Sr. Staff Engineer, leading implementation projects and providing technical training. From 2022 to 2023, they served as a Senior Electrical RF Engineer at Cooper Lighting Solutions, leading design engineering efforts for power supply solutions. Ishmael was employed at Ishtronics Inc. for almost 24 years, starting as a Chief Design Engineer before becoming a Principal Electrical Engineer and Senior Electrical and Firmware Engineer. Additionally, they worked at VERO Biotech as a Principal Electrical Engineer, designing medical devices that met FDA guidelines. Ishmael began their career at Microchip Technology Inc. as a Sr Field Applications Engineer.

Ishmael Chigumira attended Kennesaw State University from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering.
