Oscar Murga

Oscar Murga is a Design Quality Engineer at Avanos Medical since October 2022, with prior experience as an R&D Engineer II focusing on HomeCare products at BD. Oscar has a solid background in quality assurance, having served as a Quality Assurance Engineer II and I at BD, where responsibilities included mentoring new engineers and collaborating with various departments on new product development. Prior to BD, Oscar worked at DISH Network as an OpEx Engineer and Production Supervisor, enhancing production processes and supervising manufacturing teams. Earlier experience includes research assistance in robotics and 3D printing at The University of Texas at El Paso, along with roles in student supervision and facilitation of team-building activities. Oscar holds a Master's degree in Manufacturing Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso.
