Achal Goel

Achal Goel has an extensive work experience that spans nearly two decades. Achal has held various leadership roles in well-known companies such as Avanse Financial Services Ltd., Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Citibank India.

At Avanse Financial Services, Achal serves as the Chief People Officer starting from 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where they held multiple roles including Senior Vice President and National Lead HR in Growth Market, Vice President and Regional HR RM Consumer Bank, and Vice President Area Business Manager/Head for Delhi and Haryana.

Before their tenure at Kotak Mahindra Bank, Achal was an Assistant Vice President and Branch Head at Citibank India, where they achieved significant success in increasing branch retail AUM and revenues. Achal also served as a Commercial Lending Specialist and Head of the Alternate Channel in Delhi, and as a Commercial/Business Banking Specialist in Delhi NCR.

Achal Goel obtained an M.B.A (Full Time) in Business Administration and Management, General from the Faculty of Management Studies - University of Delhi from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they earned a B.Tech degree in Computer Science from J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, YMCA from 1997 to 2001. Achal completed their AISSCE (12th-CBSE) with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English from Delhi Public School - R. K. Puram. In addition, Achal Goel obtained the certification of Talent Management Practitioner (TMP™) from the Talent Management Institute (TMI) in March 2021.
