Kunal Phutane

Kunal Phutane has extensive work experience in the financial services and banking industry. Kunal started their career as a Summer Intern at Linnhoff India Pvt Ltd in 2015. In 2016, they joined Kotak Mahindra Bank as a Product Manager for Payment Gateway services, a role they held until May 2022. From June 2022 to August 2023, they worked at Airtel Payments Bank as a Product Manager for Merchant Acquiring, specializing in Card Acquiring and Payment Gateway. Currently, Kunal is with Avanse Financial Services Ltd. as the Head of Business Transformation Management, a role they have held since September 2023.

Kunal Phutane completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from G.H. Raisoni College of Engineering in Nagpur from 2009 to 2013. Kunal then pursued Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Indian Institute of Management Mumbai from 2014 to 2016. Prior to their engineering degree, they completed their HSC from J B Science College in 2009 and their SSC from S.V.M Wardha from 1997 to 2007. Additionally, Kunal Phutane obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance in May 2021.
