Neeraj Swaroop

Mr. Neeraj Swaroop is a professional with over 36 years of experience; 27 years in Financial Services and 9 years in Consumer Goods (FMCG). He has built and led businesses across geographies in Asia. Currently, he is a Professor & Head at the Centre for Financial Studies, S.P Jain Institute of Management and Research. He was Chief Executive Officer – Standard Chartered Singapore, South East Asia, South Asia. He has handled large operations with approximately 4000 employees, USD 100 billion of Assets, 2 Billion revenue, 750 million OP. He was responsible for the bank’s franchise in 9 South East Asia countries and Australia. Earlier, he was the group head of consumer bank HDFC Bank Limited. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and a post-graduate diploma in business administration from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. He also holds a post-graduation degree in retail bank management from University of Virginia.
