Warehouse Operative Art Handler at Avant Arte

Mariana Oliveira has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Mariana started their career in 2002 as a Photographer and Imaging Manager at Malcolm Slater Photography, where they were responsible for editing, digital manipulation, print and quality control, as well as organizing photo shoots and managing orders. In 2010, they worked as an Art Teacher at St James Primary School, delivering art classes in workshop format to students from years 2 to 7. Mariana also worked as an English Teacher at Know How Sociedade de Linguas e Accao Social, Lda, teaching extracurricular enrichment activities to students from years 1 to 3.

In 2011, Mariana joined Mondo Mycologicals BV as a General Manager, where they focused on mycology research and product development in a sterile laboratory environment. Mariana also took on managerial responsibilities such as customer service, managing orders, and general administration.

From 2015 to 2016, Mariana worked as an Exhibition Guest Assistant for artist Carolien Wissing, assisting with two exhibitions in Rotterdam and Amsterdam.

In 2016, Mariana co-founded Manifacto Amsterdam V.O.F., where they served as a Co-founder, Manager, and Project Creator. Mariana'sresponsibilities included managing the tattoo and piercing services, shop management, organizing art exhibitions, events, and workshops, as well as handling administration, budgeting, communication, and customer service. Mariana also developed skills in website design and building, social media management, and newsletter creation.

In 2016, they briefly served as a General Manager at Parkarma, filling in for the owner during their maternity leave. Mariana'sresponsibilities included shop management, customer service, and product design and development.

Continuing their career in the art industry, Mariana joined Avant Arte in 2022 as an Art Handling Technician. Mariana'srole involved quality control of printed art and sculptures, as well as packing and shipping artworks. Mariana also contributed to overall warehouse organization for optimal efficiency and safety.

In the same year, Mariana also started working at Moo2me as a Jewelry Designer & Website Designer. Mariana'sresponsibilities included designing and making jewelry using a non-toxic etching technique and various materials, as well as creating promotional materials like flyers, posters, and stickers. Mariana also utilized their skills in website design and building.

Throughout their career, Mariana has demonstrated creativity, strong organizational skills, and a diverse range of abilities in art, design, customer service, and administration.

Mariana Oliveira obtained their BTEC National Diploma in Art and Design from Witshire College, where they studied from 1998 to 2000. Mariana then pursued further education at Aberystwyth University, graduating in 2009 with a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts & Museum and Gallery Studies, specifically a BA (HONS) in that field of study.
