Alex Wood

Alex Wood is an experienced software engineer and technical lead, currently serving as Engineering Technical Lead at Avant Assessment since December 2022. Wood has a strong background in full-stack development within AWS cloud infrastructure, having previously held a similar role at Avant Assessment from February 2020 to January 2022, and worked as an Enterprise Software Developer at the University of Oregon from January 2022 to December 2022. Earlier experience includes roles as a Software Developer at Twenty Ideas, Inc., and IT Security Specialist at TEKsystems, where investigations into security violations were conducted. Wood began the professional journey as a Technical Specialist at St. Charles Health System and as a Desktop Support Technician with TEKsystems. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University and an Associate of Science in Building Construction Technology from Lane Community College.
