Phil O'Day

Phil O'Day is an experienced leader in the non-profit and mission sectors, currently serving as President and CEO of Avant Ministries since July 2019, following a role as VP of Public Ministries & US Director. Prior to this, Phil O'Day held the position of Executive Vice President and COO at Camino Global from July 2012 to June 2019, focusing on global mobilization and operational leadership. With a career that began at CAM International in June 1992, Phil O'Day advanced to Director of Organizational Development and Communication, where responsibilities included change management and organizational culture development. Earlier experience includes roles in church planting and youth ministry, including co-founding the Common Ground Community Youth Center in Chicago. Phil O'Day holds a B.A. in International Ministries from Moody Bible Institute, a Master's Degree from Columbia International University, and a Certificate in Advanced Spanish Language Study from The Spanish Language Institute.
