Kyra MacAlma

Kyra Macalma is a Creative Graphic Designer currently employed at AVANTGARDE Group since July 2022. Previously, Kyra served as a Junior Creative Graphic Designer at LIGHTBLUE from September 2021 to June 2022. During a brief engagement as an Environment Pixel Artist with The Global Game Jam in May 2021, Kyra created visuals that defined the pixel graphics aesthetic of the game environment and provided feedback to ensure quality artwork. Earlier experience includes working as a Character Concept Artist at Knotgames from June 2020 to September 2020, where Kyra produced high-quality character concepts and collaborated with the Creative Director and Game Designer. Kyra holds a Bachelor of Design in Art/Art Studies from SAE UAE, completed in 2022, and has educational experience from St. Mary's University from 2009 to 2018.
