Unnati Patel

Unnati Patel, PhD, is a QC Specialist at Avanti Polar Lipids since May 2022, with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and academic sectors. Unnati has served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Alabama in Huntsville since August 2016, instructing undergraduate laboratory courses in general and organic chemistry. Unnati's research includes the development of a novel targeted drug delivery system utilizing gold nanorods and thermo-sensitive liposomes. Previously, Unnati worked as a Research Associate at Zydus Cadila Healthcare Pharmaceuticals Limited, focusing on method development and analytical validation in a GMP environment. Additionally, Unnati has experience as a Quality Control Chemist at Ascent Finechem Pvt Ltd, conducting instrumental analyses and scientific writing. Unnati holds a PhD in Biotechnology Science & Engineering and a Master's degree in Chemistry from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, along with a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Analysis and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
