Jake Wilson

Jake Wilson is a Process Development Chemist at Avanti Polar Lipids, where responsibilities include the development and scale-up of processes for cGMP product manufacturing since March 2020. Prior to this, Jake held several positions at The University of Alabama, including Research and Development Chemist and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Specialist, focusing on the development of inhibitors for multidrug-resistant infections and certain cancers. Jake also served as a Teaching Assistant, instructing undergraduate students in laboratory settings, and gained earlier experience as a Shift Lead at Pieology Pizzeria and a Patient Data Entry Specialist at Vision Source of Jacksonville. Educational achievements include a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from The University of Alabama and an Advanced High School Diploma with Honors from Jacksonville High School.
