Sandra Cummings

Sandra Cummings has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the healthcare industry. Sandra currently holds the position of Vice President of Business Development at Avantik since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Thermo Fisher Scientific as the Senior Director of Global Business Development from March 2021 to May 2023. Before that, they were the Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing at Epredia from June 2019 to October 2020. Sandra also has a long history with Thermo Fisher Scientific, serving as the Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing, Anatomical Pathology from March 2018 to May 2019, Vice President of Commercial Operations, Americas - Laboratory Products Group from December 2015 to February 2018, LPG Sales Director from January 2014 to November 2015, and Zone Director, East from September 2010 to January 2014. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Health Systems and IDN's from January 2009 to September 2010 and the Vice President of Health Systems from March 2007 to December 2008. Sandra's earlier work experience includes the role of Vice President of Sales at Richard-Allan Scientific from January 2006 to March 2007. Sandra Cummings received an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S) degree in MLT- Histotechnology from the State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill in 1986. Sandra later pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Management, Economics, and Business at SUNY Albany from 1993 to 1995.
