Luis Miguel Musi

Luis Miguel Musi is the Co-Founder and President of Avantpage Life Sciences, a translation services company that specializes in highly regulated markets. Luis has been with Avantpage since September 2017. Prior to that, they served as the CEO of Avantpage Translations, where they managed a wide range of language services. Additionally, Musi has experience as the President of the Board for the Davis Bridge Educational Foundation, an organization focused on improving the academic achievement of low-income students. Luis also co-founded and co-owned Transcend, a translation company, where they served as Vice President of Technology. Before that, Musi worked as a Senior Software Engineer for Sybase Inc and as a Member of the Technical Staff at Hewlett Packard.

Luis Miguel Musi began their education at Centro Educativo Ciencias y Letras from 1972 to 1975, where they completed their Junior High schooling. Luis then attended Centro Universitario Mexico from 1974 to 1977, obtaining their High School degree with a focus on Physical Sciences. Continuing their academic journey, Luis Miguel pursued a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of California, Davis from 1978 to 1982, specializing in Plant Science. The desire for further education led him to the University of California, Berkeley, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from 1985 to 1992.
