Brenton O'Callaghan

Brenton O'Callaghan has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Brenton started their career as a Software Engineer at Tyco Electronics, where they developed and maintained software for testing products on a production floor. Brenton also proposed and designed a software control system for the plant.

Brenton later joined Harris RF Communications as a Software Engineer for a brief period. Following this, they worked as an IT Helpdesk Staff member at University College Cork, where they maintained network points around the campus and built a web-based system for cataloging changes and network monitoring.

In 2010, Brenton joined ODG Technologies as a Software Developer and head of IT, responsible for software development and maintaining computer systems. Brenton then joined Bluefin as a Senior Technical Consultant, specializing in technology and delivery, including areas such as mobility, SAP HANA, security, and emerging technologies.

Within Bluefin, Brenton took on multiple roles, including being the SAP HANA Practice Lead for North America, where they were responsible for delivery, talent acquisition, sales, pre-sales, and go-to-market activities related to SAP HANA. Brenton also served as the RVP for Bluefin Solutions North America.

In 2018, Bluefin became the SAP practice of Mindtree, and Brenton continued their role as the Global Head of SAP Innovation. Brenton focused on helping customers solve business problems using emerging technologies such as Blockchain, AI, and ML. Brenton was involved in the creation and market launch of Bluefin's SAP Innovation practice, including accelerator creation, design thinking workshops, and coordination of relationships with analyst groups.

Most recently, Brenton joined Avantra as the Head of Customer Experience and later transitioned to the role of Chief Customer Officer in 2020.

Brenton O'Callaghan attended the MEDDIC Academy in 2023 and obtained an Advanced MEDDPICC degree. In 2006, they began studying at University College Cork and graduated in 2010 with a BSC degree in Computer Science. Additionally, Brenton O'Callaghan has obtained various certifications, including "SAP Leonardo - Enabling the Intelligent Enterprise" and "SAP Leonardo Design-Led Development" from SAP in 2018. Brenton also completed certifications in "Blockchain: Beyond the Basics," "Learning Docker," "Learning Python," and "Blockchain Basics" from Lynda.com in 2018, as well as "Design Your First App with Build" from SAP and "Software Development on SAP HANA" in 2017.
