Andreas Zill

Andreas Zill is an accomplished aerospace executive with significant expertise in operations management and strategic leadership. Currently serving as the President of Avantus Aerospace since September 2022, Andreas previously held the role of VP/GM at Safran, where Andreas worked for four years. With a strong background in enhancing operational efficiencies, Andreas successfully transformed Coast Composites during a challenging period as Vice President & General Manager at Ascent Aerospace. Additional experience includes positions as Plant Manager at Ducommun Incorporated and B/E Aerospace, where Andreas implemented process improvements and integrated ERP systems. Earlier roles at Bal Seal Engineering and Pankl Aerospace Systems involved leading operations teams and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Andreas holds an MSc in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from UC Irvine and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
