Valentin Alonso Soroa

Valentin Alonso Soroa is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in financial leadership and general management. Currently serving as Director General and CEO at Avanza Grupo since April 2007, Valentin has also held the position of Director Financiero (CFO) within the same organization. Prior to joining Avanza Grupo, Valentin was the CFO of Exide Technologies from 1999 to 2007 and worked as an Auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co. from 1997 to 1999. Academic credentials include a PDG from IESE Business School obtained in 2012 and a degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, complemented by foundational education at Maristas San Jose del Parque.
