Dr. Nadira Friesen

Dr. Nadira Friesen currently serves as the Head of Medical Affairs - Nephrology at Avanzanite Bioscience since July 2025. Prior experience includes multiple roles at Apellis Pharmaceuticals from October 2019 to July 2025, progressing from Senior MSL Europe in Ophthalmology to Associate Director, Medical Science Liaison Lead DACH. Dr. Friesen's career also includes positions at Sobi, GSK, Stiefel, OT medical GmbH, Sanofi Pasteur MSD, mibe Gmbh Arzneimittel, and the German Center for Diabetes Research, demonstrating extensive expertise in medical science liaison and key account management. Dr. Friesen holds a Doctorate in Biology from the University of Düsseldorf and additional qualifications as a psychological consultant and personal coach from ILS.
