Raj Shergill

Raj Shergill is an accomplished engineering manager with extensive experience in the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as Engineering Manager at Avara Foods since July 2019, Raj previously held roles at Mars Petcare, where responsibilities included Process Design Engineer and Technical Team Leader, and at Imperial Tobacco, where roles ranged from First Line Manager to Technical Specialist. Raj's career began at Boots Manufacturing as the youngest Senior Control & Instrumentation Technician, responsible for coaching and enhancing production efficiencies. Raj holds an HND and HNC in Mechatronics from De Montfort University and a BTEC National Certificate in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Broxtowe College.
