Daniel Dixon, M.S., MBA has a diverse work experience in various industries. Daniel is currently working at Avara Pharmaceutical Services as the Director of Global Compliance and previously held the role of Director of Quality. Prior to this, they were the VP of Quality Control at UPM Pharmaceuticals, Inc. In addition, they have worked as a Quality Engineer II at DENTSPLY International - Endodontics Division and as a Quality Engineer and Senior Chemist at Colgate Palmolive. Daniel also has experience in education, having worked as a High School Science Teacher at Hawkins County Board of Education. Daniel began their career as a Research and Development Chemist at Eastman Chemical Company.

Daniel started their academic journey at the Academy of Medical & Health Science in 1994, where they studied Emergency Medical Technology/Technician (EMT Paramedic) and Pharmacy Technician. After completing their studies at the Academy, they pursued further education at Northeast State Community College from 1997 to 1999, earning an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree with a focus on Chemistry.
In 1999, Daniel Dixon transferred to East Tennessee State University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with an ACS Certification in Chemistry. Continuing their studies at the same institution, they enrolled in a Master of Science (M.S.) program specializing in Analytical Chemistry, which they successfully completed in 2006.
In addition to their degrees, Daniel Dixon has also obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) certification from Eastman, although the specific date of certification is not available.
