Chris Kocsis

Chris Kocsis has a diverse range of work experience in various leadership and consulting roles. Chris is currently serving as the Chief People Officer at AvaSure since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Executive Officer at CoSource Consulting Group starting from March 2017. From July 2017 to April 2021, they held the position of Chief Talent & Learning Officer at TractManager before it became part of symplr.

Before joining TractManager, Chris worked as an Outreach Consultant at netlogx from March 2016 to March 2017. From January 2012 to September 2015, they served as an Associate Vice President at TriZetto Group.

Chris also has a significant tenure at their own consulting firm, Kocsis Consulting Group, Inc., where they worked as President from January 1999 to December 2011. Their consulting expertise spans various industries including healthcare, banking, insurance, manufacturing, and higher education.

Prior to starting their own firm, Chris worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan from 2003 to 2009, serving as a Consultant/Sr. Consultant and Project Manager. Chris also worked as a Senior Project Manager at Priority Health from 1991 to 2002.

Throughout their career, Chris has been involved in areas such as project management, process re-engineering, leadership training, organizational development, strategic planning, team building, skill assessment, program development, policy and procedure development, training assessment and development, problem solving, conflict and issue resolution, interpersonal behavior training, facilitation, change management, performance measurement, total quality improvement, and vendor procurement.

Chris Kocsis earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management from Central Michigan University, where they studied from 1981 to 1985. Later, from 1997 to 2003, they attended Western Michigan University and obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree, focusing on Health Care Administration. Additionally, during their time at Central Michigan University, Chris earned another Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, specializing in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services.
